The congress passed a bill to rescue the mortgage giants Fannie & Freddie and address other systemic issues with the housing sector at large.Most Democrats voted in favor of the bill .The GOP voted 75% against the bill. Time will tell if the sweeping bill to rescue the crippled housing market will be a band-aid or offer a long term solution.
