The food crisis was in the news 6 months ago with food shortages and rioting all over the world from Africa to Haiti. Needless to say, the global recession will not help. The IMF stated recently that they need an extra 200 billion within 6 months. With a global financial crisis, rich countries are less likely to open their valets.
