Yes, Obama is black. Thank God for that. Perhaps that has given him the perspective he will need to navigate the rocky shoals of our political and economic seas. We have a destination to reach: the promised land of Dr. King’s Beloved Community and it will take a sure and steady hand to guide us past the siren songs of hatred and division.
