In 1996,GM launched the first commercially available electric car,the EV1.The car required no fuel and could be plugged in.Only over 1,000 EV1 were produced before GM pulled the plug in 2002.Just imagine how thriving of a business they would have now,instead of nearing a bankruptcy filling....
