J Street has being established to advocate a new direction in American policy in the Middle-East through diplomatic solutions rather than military ones.J Street is urging for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza.The new organization was created to counter balance the tremendous influence on US policies of the pro-Israeli(and war mongering) AIPAC.
