At least according to Wes Penre they are. The Illuminati ( or Moria) is a secretive and well structured organization consisting of the very wealthy and the political leaders world wide. Mr. Penre calls them a " shadow government". Is this pure fiction and conspiracy theory or is this based on some facts? You be the judge.
