The number of Sikhs & Hindus in Afghanistan is unknown; estimates range from 2-3000. There were high hopes when the Taliban regime was toppled, and there was a window of opportunity for a better Afghanistan to be built. That window has proved to be a false dawn, and Afghanistan has fallen back into armed warlordism and tribal conflict.
