On Friday, Interior Secretary Salazar announced that a Bush-era policy on emissions will stand. He doesn't see the Endangered Species Act (protecting the polar bears) as " The appropriate tool to deal with what is a global issue ". This news will be upsetting to environmentalists,but it will be cheered by the oil & gas companies....
