From the memo:" One of the core argument for going to war against Iraq was that Saddam was seeking to build nuclear weapons.Gonzales asserted to the Senate(on behalf of Rice) that the CIA approved the use of the claim. The evidence appear to raise serious questions about the veracity of the assertions made by Gonzales to Congress on Rice's behalf."
