Fidel Castro, also not officially in power, is far from dead.There is still plenty of life left in the most consummate political survivor of his era. Fidel currently writes his thoughts to his nation in the newspaper Granma. In Cuba, there is a nostalgia for the revolution but also a desire for progress and a new relationship with the US.
